Perceptual Reality provides high-impact, outcomes-based coaching, assessments and workshops to help you, your team and your organisation really communicate.
Communication; that old chestnut
If there is a problem, a disagreement, or something goes wrong, how often is communication to blame (rightly or wrongly)?
Research suggests that you spend up to 80% of your waking hours communicating in one form or another. That’s a lot of time to get things wrong and history proves that small communication errors can have massive consequences. As George Bernard Shaw observed, “The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place”
Are you communicating or just talking?
What if you could?
- Learn how to truly reach the people that you are communicating with
- Develop an understanding of how you and others communicate
- Anticipate and reduce misunderstandings that result from miscommunication
- Reduce conflict by avoiding sabotaging behaviour in yourself and those with whom you work
- Establish and maintain effective relationships
- And so much more
Well, you can!
The Process Communication Model® (PCM) is a complete tool kit for managing communication. Based on an award-winning theory and developed for use by NASA in astronaut selection and team building, this behavioural-based model has been extensively used in the USA, mainland Europe, Oceania and Japan. It is now available in the UK.
As a Process Communication professional, you will not speak about ‘types of people’; you will discuss the ‘types in people‘. You will show that there are six basic personality types and that everyone has some of each type within them. You will have the skills to know how to use these different types to become flexible in your style of communication and management. Effectively each personality type has a unique language and if you want people to listen, you must speak their language.
Your tool kit
PCM differs from other models in that it accurately predicts behaviour and provides solutions for managing effective communication, motivation and distress. Through PCM, you will be able to tailor your communication to match the style of the person you wish to communicate with. In this way, your message is much more likely to be heard loud and clear.
Your next steps
People have experienced greater success and power in their personal and professional lives after learning and applying the principles of Process Communication. You too can learn how to apply PCM principles quickly and effectively.
